Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Doodle Historian publishing application ("the App") handles information. The App is operated by the Doodle Historian team for publishing videos to channels that we own. It is not offered to the general public and does not create accounts for other users.

Information we access

When the channel owner connects a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram account, the App receives OAuth access and refresh tokens with the minimum permissions needed to:

• upload videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions and hashtags to the connected channel;
• read the publishing status and basic public statistics (views, likes, comments) of the videos the App uploaded.

The App does not access private messages, contacts, followers' personal data or any content other than the videos it publishes.

How we use and store it

• Tokens are used only to perform the uploads and statistics requests described above.
• Tokens are stored on our own server with access restricted to the operator, and are never shared, sold or transferred to third parties.
• Statistics are used only to evaluate the performance of our own videos.

Google API Services

The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is accessed through the YouTube API Services in accordance with the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Viewers

We do not collect personal information from people who watch our videos. Viewing and interaction data is handled by the respective platforms under their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept while the channel is connected. Access can be revoked at any time in the platform's security settings (for Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions); revoked or expired tokens are deleted from our server.
